Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy is a holistic practice that takes into account every aspect of your health. I focus on food and nutrition first, and then stress management, supplements, environmental factors and lifestyle changes to help the body return to balance. I do this by looking at the person as a whole, getting a detailed medical history in order to identify root causes before suggesting a Nutritional Plan.
I help support people who want to feel their healthiest, balance their hormones, improve their digestion, reduce their risk of developing chronic disease, reduce symptoms of a current illness, or who just want to age healthily.
As someone who has suffered with an autoimmune disease and PCOS, I have seen huge improvements in my own health since I started implementing Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy.
How does it work and what happens during a session:
Before each consultation I send out a comprehensive form for you to fill out. This will gather information about your heredity, dietary habits, lifestyle, medical history, environment, constraints, aspirations ... to best understand the person you are. This helps inform how the consultation will go and ensures no time is wasted in getting to the root cause of your symptoms.
The initial consultation takes 90 minutes. During these sessions, I will first try to learn as much as possible about your daily life, your goals, and your expectations. It allows me to evaluate your deficiencies and/or excesses and to search for the causes of imbalances. Based on these elements, we can discuss the nutritional changes to implement to help improve your daily life and reach your goals.
After the session, I will send you a personalized Nutritional Plan detailing the advice we discussed together. This plan aims to provide you with clear, accessible, and practical information support. This will contain Nutritional, lifestyle and Supplement advice (if needed).
What will those sessions be useful for:
This will depend on how much you put into it. I will advise and support but you must do the hard work. To date, i have helped support clients with the following symptoms:
Digestive issues
Diarrhea
Constipation
Bloating
Cramping
Reflux
IBS
Food allergies/intolerances
Hormonal imbalance
PMS (should not be an issue and is a sign of hormonal imbalances in the body)!
