I'm a male Reflexologist & Somatic therapist. I help people find solutions to their physical and emotional issues. I pride myself in offering top-notch customer focus & commitment to bringing tangible results.
Who is Hubert Servignat:
I offer Reflexology and Somatic Therapies in Tralee, Kerry. I strongly believe that complementary therapies have their rightful place and a profound potential to bring about healing to their clients. I see evidence of this in my practice on a daily basis.
I help clients find solutions to their health challenges, and get better. Whether through Reflexology or Somatic therapies, I bring you my full attention, a deep state of presence, and work with you to find solutions to your issues. I have a deep commitment to client safety, confidentiality, well-being and ultimately, satisfaction.
How does it work and what happens during a session:
Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy.
In the course of a session I will first do a short consultation with you to assess what brings you to me. I then invite you to lie down on a comfortable plinth and work what are called 'reflexes' on my your feet. Those reflexes are precise points on the feet, connected or linked to particular body areas/organs. The sessions are unanimously described as deeply relaxing by my clients. I end the session by asking you to reflect briefly on what the session brought up and give short advice on after-session care.
Somatic therapies are methods of trauma deactivation.
In a Somatic session I am here to hold the space for you and allow you to explore and express what goes on inside. The work is deeply centred on bringing everything (emotions, thought processes) back to the body and physical sensations, and to allow discharge of any held tensions or traumas. We only ever go as fast as you will feel comfortable - sessions can be very gentle and very deep. They usually bring a deep sense of emotional and mental release, and inner peace.
What will those sessions be useful for:
I would recommend Reflexology to anyone having issues more related to the physical plane such as arthritis, digestive issues, chronic pain, fertility, menopause, disrupted sleep patterns, headaches/migraines etc.
Somatic therapies would be more indicated for anything related to nervous system regulation, emotional distress, anxiety, depression, stress, lack of drive, depression, bullying/abuse, etc.
Of course many dysfunctions and discomforts can have both physical and/or mental/emotional manifestations. You can book in for either modality if you have determined which one is best suited for you, or get in touch for further discussion to help you with your decision.
